Here in Eminem's music video we can see that there is a major amount of Amplification of these shots as these are repeats of the same shot.

Here in 50 Cent's music video we see that they are using the same shot like Eminem but have changed it slightly by being at the left of 50 cent rather than in front of him like the previous shot. This is done to make it seem different and more interesting.

Here we see a fade editing transition in both Eminem and Dr Dre's songs. This seems to be one of the more common editing transitions I see rather than the simple generic cut.
Also with the music videos that I have researched I find that they all have cuts on the beats, not all the cuts but a lot of them.
