2 PAC digipak research
This is a Digipak from death row records by the artist 2pac.
The image of the digipak is very unique in representing the style of the artist 2pac. 2pac is postitioned on the right hand side of the cover. This leaves room around him to put all of the information needed for the digipak. The artist is the biggest thing on the digipak showing his dominance and bringing focus onto himThe artist is looking at the image with a relaxed posture. The image of the artist also shows the artist's culture and way of life easily by the jewellery that he wears and the tattoos and clothing. It is a stereotype of someone in this genre.
Down the left hand side of the digipak there are the names of the tracks within. These are separated by two CDs. They have positioned the track names in a way that they look to be curving around the artist's hand, they have done this through the different track name lengths. There is a bar code at the top right which is filling up another space. Lower down there is all of the copyright information so that they completely own their original content. This is in small print as it isn't to do with the information that the consumers want, this will stop them from reading it. It also fills a space on the digipack. In big bold letters the executive producer has his name just under the artist where it can be seen clearly. Next to this there is a logo of 'Death Row Records' where it is in the bottom left looking to be like some sort if stamp. this is giving the digipack some other sort o identity rather than 2pac.

This is the front cover of the digipack. This is a lot more simple than the back cover. Yet again it has the artist as the main focus of this side, in a different position than the back to keep it interesting. This is where the record label can have a bit more freedom. There is a big 2pac logo on the top right in a space. This shows that people are more inclined to buy the album because of the artist rather than the songs. And the album name lower down in smaller print. There is also a parental advisory stamp on the bottom right as this is explicit content.
